WAC: Teaching Writing Intensive Courses in a Shortened Semester

Teaching a WI course online in 8 weeks requires changes to our approach, but such a focused learning context can also be a highly rewarding experience. Planning your workload, analyzing and determining course content, revising course content delivery, and adapting assessment are steps you can take for effective pandemic pedagogies.

In this workshop, we use a multi-media approach to support faculty as teachers and as writers while sharing useful strategies for delivering effective writing instruction in their disciplines during a compressed semester.
