Workshops

Workshops are an opportunity to bring hands-on exploration of writing into the classroom. The UWC has the capability to conduct two workshops per week. Workshops will be scheduled on a first come first serve basis. To submit a request, please submit this form at least two weeks in advanced of your preferred date. A UWC admin will follow up after reviewing the workshop schedule. 

For your planning purposes, workshops are designed and led by consultants. An instructor must be present during the workshop. Workshops are most helpful to students when they are working on a specific writing assignment. Workshops are most successful when they are focused on a single topic, no longer than 45 minutes, and integrated into your course.
